2012 AAHA Accredited Referral Practice of the Year is seeking an Emergency Clinician for established services in Richmond, VA’s Veterinary Emergency and Specialty Center. We are a two location, 24-hour critical care, emergency and specialty hospital,that is currently seeking an Emergency Clinician that can help expand and compliment our fantastic team. Located near the beautiful James River in the heart of Richmond, our recently expanded 14,000 feet facility employs a team of approximately seventy support staff. VESC’s new veterinarian will be supported by board-certified veterinarians in critical care, cardiology, surgery, internal medicine, ophthalmology, and dermatology. We also offer an active 1-131 therapy ward for feline hyperthyroidism, CT scanning, ultrasound, and endoscopy diagnostics. Licensed Veterinary Technicians:

The Veterinary Emergency and Specialty Center (VESC) is actively seeking veterinary technicians that have special interest in emergency medicine, surgery or internal medicine.

We are a growing private specialty, emergency and critical care practice in beautiful Richmond VA. To date our location offers board certified specialists in emergency/ critical care, internal medicine, surgery, cardiology, dermatology, ophthalmology as well as providing I-131 treatment for hyperthyroid cats.  Our AAHA accredited hospital is fully equipped with in-house laboratory, cage side ultrasound,  CT, digital radiology, monitoring equipment in order to provide the best diagnostic tools for our patients.

The VEC provides a skill based pay, where technicians are encouraged and supported to achieve the highest skill and pay possible. Annual salary is 38K-52K. Benefits include but are not limited to full health and dental, profit sharing, short term and long term disability, vacation and sick leave, scrub allowance, and CE allowance (includes travel and lodging).

Located on the James River, Richmond is described as the “big little city” with a lot to offer. Its central location makes it easily accessible for day trips, visiting the Blue Ridge mountains, beaches and historic sites.
